Micro Nuptials
Big Milestone, Petite Party
Our Pop Up MICRO Wedding offering comes from a place of LOVE. After much thought and consideration for the current times we're living in, we could not stand by and watch folks miss out on their big day!
With curated pop up nuptials, you'll still celebrate with a stylish fête, but with the spotlight being on the ceremony - surrounded by just your inner circle! We believe right now the focus is on the commitment, yet the environment should be designed and executed with the full scale efforts as a larger format wedding might have been, just with a smaller guest count.
We want couples to be able to find joy during these uncertain times and have the ability to say I Do surrounded by beautiful scenery and within a circle of support including a safe number of friends and family.
Luxury is in each detail - Hubert de Givenchy
We're not gonna lie, we want our couples to have the elements and surroundings to create an enchanting backdrop for photographs, where they will be able to capture the memory of the day they took their wedding vows...as well as having stunning photographs to share with those who were not able to be there in person.
However impeccable design and styling can come with a high price tag, so to make it possible to 'have your cake and eat it too' (read: make the the budget work) we handle all of the planning, curation and styling to create a space where four or five couples can tie the knot within the span of one day. We seek out trusted venues, partners and collaborators who can make your wedding dreams come true, just on a smaller scale than you may have originally envisioned!
Currently as of August 20th, we're offering celebrations for a total of 12 people, including the couple to be wed! As guidelines shift, we will adjust and will allow for more guests as possible, which may incur an increase in package pricing.
The Outdoor Art Club has partnered with 38north Design Co. to design solutions that work with COVID19 protocols in place.
The Outdoor Art Club is only allowing rentals for Micro Nuptials for 12 people of less, that are in a social bubble/committed cohort. We have strict guidelines and a specific format, that allows for a safe experience for the couple, the guests and those supporting the event.

tiny, mini, micro, elopement, intimate, oh my?
Confused by all the "classifications" or names being applied to weddings during COVID19?
Here's a cheat sheet that might shed some light!
>> Tiny Ceremony <<
Just the couple, the officiant and often a photographer too!
>> Elopement <<
Usually the same format as a Tiny Ceremony, but folks TRAVEL to a destination to create a barrier or space to bring the guest count down, where with a Tiny Ceremony the couple has chosen to be just the two of them. Sometimes a witness or two might be invited to join the couple.
>> Mini Wedding <<
The format of a traditional wedding with a ceremony, cocktails, dinner and merriment. This style is often the couple and their immediate family and a few friends, usually with under 40 guests. And if the mini wedding takes place outside of the area where the couple lives, it can be called a destination wedding.
>> Micro Wedding <<
A subset of the traditional wedding, with the focus on the ceremony, but still designed and executed with the full scale efforts of a larger format wedding, just with a small guest count. To make the budget work, four or five couples tie the knot within the span of one day all using the same design and layout for the festivities, with only minor adjustments or customization per couple. The entire event spans 90 minutes.
>> Just A Ceremony <<
Pre-pandemic, very rarely would couples choose to have JUST a ceremony with a large number of guests in attendance, with no other festivities taking place. With current safety measures, rules and regulations for Marin County, you CAN have a ceremony with up to 100 people, but it MUST be just a ceremony with no food, no drinks or any non-social distanced mingling after the ceremony. The group must stay social distanced at all times as well as wear masks at all times. However, in an effort to let love conquer all, some couples are choosing to go in this direction.
